The
Video Content-Type allows for stand-alone standalone videos to be added to a Content Library and linked to a Collection. This makes it possible for end users to view and download videos much the same way that they would a book.


Content Library Interface:

Click Create New Content Button:



Initializing New Content / Naming Video Content Creation:

Select Video Content Type from the menu, add a name to your Video Content, and click the Confirm Yes button button.



Content Details UI - Video:

This screen allows the editing of you to edit the Video Title, Author, and Description, uploading of as well as upload the Cover Thumbnail, access to the Build Components, updating of update the Catagories, a review of the Content Metadata, and final Publishing of Publish the Content-Type.



Uploading The the Cover Icon:

Click the Update button.



To upload Upload Video Component:

Click the Builder button button.

A note about Status, : many items will show their status and will provide further instruction by when hovering over them. It is possible in many instances that you may not be able to proceed until a particular issue is resolved by completing the instructed task.

You may link to already existing media that has been uploaded into Media Assets or via the Upload dialog.



Publish Content:

You may Publish by clicking on the Publish buttons buttons.


New Video Content now appears Now Appears in the Content Library and can be linked Can Be Linked to a Collection:
